YourBestChevyQuote.com, Americas Best Chevy Quote." IT IS ALWAYS A BUYERS MARKET

"  Typically when a consumer makes an inquiry for information or a request for quote, the website that collects your initial information (there are thousands!) tries to determine where the consumer is in the buying cycle, or as referred to by industry insiders, "The Funnel". The farther down the funnel, the closer you are to purchasing. Unfortunately for the  potential car buyer, the online experience you receive will often vary depending where you are "scored" or where an algorithm places you in the funnel. Many dealers will only purchase leads that have been "scrubbed" for quality. In short, the term scrubbed means you (the consumer) were required to give up your phone number, you know the red asterisk that says "required". Many lead providers will check to see if the number given is a working number before they sell your lead to dealers, still others use reverse phone look-up services to get your phone number before they sell your inquiry. Speaking as a consumer myself, if I want to talk on a telephone to a salesperson, I would just call a dealership, but if I just want information and prefer to receive it online and remain anonymous, I think I should have that choice. The next time you are on a website and out of nowhere you are invited to receive a free price quotation, be aware that a dealer or manufacturer is going to pay a fee for the opportunity to quote you. If your phone number is required at any point to qualify for the quotation, be prepared for an onslaught of calls from someone who is trained to "tease" you into coming to their lair. In my mind it all comes down to this question. Why should my providing my phone number have anything to do with my getting trustworthy information or a quotation online? There are quality dealerships that do not require your phone number to do "instant chats" or provide quotations. Your best information will come from one of these dealerships. If your phone number is required, RUN!Full Disclosure: YBCQ sells leads To quality Chevy dealers that do not require your phone number.
